Text in Russian, with summaries in English, French and German. Text by L.I. Besleeva and L.F. Krestíianinova. List of plates. Over 100 color plates + many black & white illus. Identifying information such as date, craftsman (when known), material, provenance for all objects. Beginning section, (in Russian only) profiles dozens of these modern folk artists and has black & white photographs of them and the towns and villages where they live and work.
