Uniform printed cloth. = The Miscellaneous Publications consist of monographic studies on different zoological subjects, but in this set, all (and only) the herpetological contributions are gathered, starting with Alexander G. Ruthven's The amphibians and reptiles of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Columbia (1922) and ending with James A. Peters' The snakes of the subfamily Dipsadinae (1960). All 17 other papers from between these two dates are added, including works by Norman Hartweg, Hernon G. Dowling, L. C. Stuart, Paul, S. Martin, William E. Duellmann, Jay M. Savage, and others. A fine, clean set.
