Later blind quarter cloth over marbled boards. Original front wrapper bound in. = Dealing with Silurian ostracod crustaceans, and sea scorpions (crustaceans). Very well-illustrated and with many new taxa. Published in the academy's Mémoires. The author, Friedrich Schmidt (1832-1908) was a Russian palaeontologist. Old inscription and old Cyrillic on the front wrapper, title page and a few text leaf top margins; mild foxing, restricted to the plates, otherwise very good. Nissen ZBI, 3723.
