Spines with four raised band, gilt Jugendstil ornaments and title. Floral endpapers. = A classic, well-illustrated reference book on petrography and minerals. This work was first issued in 1896 and quickly went through several editions, of which this is the re-edited fourth edition of the complete second volume, and all that deals with solid stones. This edition combines more and better information with an attractive binding. Slight rubbing to the boards, otherwise a very good, clean set.
