Paris, G. Masson, 1886. 4to (30.2 x 22.9 cm). 300 pp., ten tinted lithographed plates. Contemporary half cloth over marbled boards. Spine with gilt title. = A very detailed study of this crinoid. The anatomical and histological plates have a very striking reddish-purple colour. Offprint, with wide margins, from the Nouvelles Archives du Muséum d'Histoire Naturelle. Small, old, cut out on title page whithout loss of text, and a larger cut out in the front free endpaper. A few leaves with a mostly marginal waterstain, but most pages clean. In all a good, complete copy. Rare. Not in Nissen ZBI.
