Original printed wrappers. = This is the first part of a larger work, but this section is complete for the even and odd toed ungulates, and includes the description of several new species. The plates are quite large, showing skulls, etc. Uncut. Inscribed by the author, the Russian palaeontologist Maria Vasilievna Pavlova (1854-1938), dedicated to M. Baule. The work includes a dedication page to A. Gaudry. Front wrapper loose, wrapper edges frayed (as usual with uncut wrappers), otherwise very good.
