Original full-colour pictorial laminated boards. = An important and surprisingly rare work on Indian oil-producing plants, e.g. cumin, davana, dill seed, fennel, ginger, linaloe, palmarosa, patchouli, rose, etc., etc., and some others with aromatic qualities, in particular hops. The full colour photos show flowering plants, or seeds; the accompanying text deals with the distillation, production, use and chemistry of the various oils, as well as description of plants seeds, etc., completed with a list of references. Joints partly split at spine foot, otherwise a very good, clean copy.
