Matching original boards with later cloth backing, small vellum labels with hand-written titles on spines. Edges speckled red. = The first two volumes of the rare early Swiss natural history journal of which four volumes were issued. Deals with the geography and geology of Switzerland and contains, for instance, a large, folding map of Grindewald, and four large, folding tables of minerals; and geological and botanical illustrations.
