Contemporary half morocco over marbled boards, gilt title on the spine. = This forms the supplement to the mineral part of the Naturgeschichte der drei Reiche by Bischoff, Blum a.o., but is complete in itself dealing with economic geology and in particular methods of mining, and the use of tools, as well as on the products obtained. For instance, two plates show Egyptian, Greece and Roman stone columns. Boards much worn, spine half perished, bookplate on the front pastedown, perforated stamp on the titlepage, one text leaf partly lose, otherwise good. Ward & Carozzi, 228.
