The sale was comprised of photographs from several agencies of the Groupe Hachette Filipacchi Photos. They included Keystone, Gamma, Rapho and Hoa-Qui. Photographers include Willy Ronis, Sandford Roth portraits of famous artists and movie stars including 10 shots of James Dean during the filming of 'Giant', Janine Niepce, Michel Huet from his 'Dance Aficaines' series, Sabine Weiss, Ylla, Hans Namuth several Jackson Pollock photos of him painting.
