Original pebbled and printed boards. = An important work on the geology and palaeontology of the French Alps near the Côte d'Azur. Rarely seen complete. This second, paleontological, part is especially rare and of scientific interest and includes authors such as Cossmann (on Mesozoic molluscs), Depéret, Kilian, Koby, Lambert (on well-preserved Mesozoic echinoderms), etc. Published by the famous Société géologique de France in cooperation with the Société des Lettres, Sciences et Arts des Alpes-Maritimes in Nice. Binding too weak, therefore spine split; edges worn, otherwise a very good copy. Not in Ward and Carozzi.
