Original pictorial soft cover. = A major monograph with excellent descriptions and illustrations of deepwater shrimps from off the coast of tropical West Africa. Includes several new species. Dedication copy, signed by the second author, to professor Pierre Paul Grassé (1895-1985), godfather and chief editor of the Traité de Zoologie, the last printed series of monographs intended to encompass the whole animal kingdom, and still in progress. Forest wrote several chapters for the Traité. A very good, clean copy, without library marks.
