Original printed wrappers. = Important contribution to the Liassic ammonite fauna of north Africa (Trias) with a number of new species. The plates are unusually large, double-sized. Published in the series, Matériaux pour la carte géologique de l'Algérie: Paléontologie 1(7). Uncut. Inscribed in the top margin of the title page, J. Flandrin; most probably the French geologist Jacques Flandrin (1908-1983). Spine with cloth strip. Wrapper fore margins reinforced, otherwise a very good copy.
