This catalog was prepared to accompany the exhibition in Boston at the Institute of Contemporary Art from April 18 to July 1, 2001. Laylah Ali (1968- ) was born in Buffalo, New York and attended the Skowhegen School of Painting and Sculpture in the early 1990's. This was her first solo exhibition. Essay by Suzanne Wise.
