Printed wrappers. = A seldom-seen publication by the German malacologist Carl Arend Friedrich "Fritz" Wiegmann (1836-1901). This forms a part of Kükenthal's Wissenschäftlige Reiseergebnisse of two travels and explorations of the Mollucas and Borneo (Kalimantan). The fine plates are after original drawings by the author. Uncut. Edges, therefore, a bit frayed and creased, the wrappers more so. Damp-stain in the top outer margin of the first three plates, otherwise a very good copy. Cat. BM(NH) p. 1032. Not in Nissen.
