This is a very good hardcover copy in red pebbled leather with an elaborate gilt title and emblem to the front cover and gilt title and designs and raised bands to the spine. Edges of spine worn. White moire silk endpapers. A bookplate indicates this book was given as a prize to a student at the Ecoles Communales in Paris in 1887. All edges gilt. Text in French. Green silk page-mark. 77 black & white illustrations. 8 1/2" high X 5 1/2" wide, 133 pages. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.
