Near uniform stiff printed wrappers. = This is a part of the author's thesis on the geology of a part of eastern France. This second part deals with ammonites, in particular their phylogeny and spatial distribution. The illustrations are excellent. Little is known about the author, the French geologist and palaeontologist Daniel Contini. He is not in 2400 years of Malacology. Spines with later printed title mounted with transparent tape, otherwise a very good, clean set.
