Stockholm, Lars Salvius, 1755. In four issues. 8vo (22.0 x 14.0 cm). 315, vii pp. Original blind wrappers. = The official journal of the Swedish Academy of Sciences for the year 1755. With contributions by Clerck, on insects, Linnaeus (two botanical papers), and others, Topics also include medicine, meteorology, ichthyology, etc., etc. Linnaeus's papers are on Mirabilis longiflora, eller lång-pipiga under-blomman (long-stemmed flowers), and on Spansk Crasse (Spanish cress). Uncut, creating a mix of "normal", and very wide margins. Spines singed, rather vague damp-stain to a few leaves, otherwise a very good, clean set. Soulsby, 535 (Mirabilis longiflora), and 537 (Spansk crasse).
