Stockholm, Lars Salvius, 1751. In two issues (of four). 8vo (21.1 x 14.0 cm). 159 pp.; four engraved plates (three large, multi-folded). Original blind wrappers. = The official journal of the Swedish Academy of Sciences for the year 1751. In front a list of members, including Von Haller, Reaumur, De Jussiau, Gmelin, Palmquist, Count Tessin, Wallerius, and, of course, Carl Linnaeus. One large, folded plate depicts a cross-section of a windmill. Uncut, fore edges therefore frayed and a bit chipped, otherwise a good set.
