Written by the Russian scientist Platon Akimovich Lukashevich, or Lukashevych (1809-1887) (spelled Loukashevech on the spine). Entirely written in Russian with some handwritten translation in French and including the original pictorial cover on which part one is printed, but as far as we can see it is complete in two parts, as printed on the spine.
