Over the course of time, however, the concept of God and the world that was found in the scriptures became elaborated and thus kalam was used to try to establish a sound and substantial worldview. This book examines not only the historical process, dating back to the time of the Prophet, via its representatives, opinions and works, but also indicates the characteristics of the contents that have been developed and systematized throughout the ages. Finally, an analysis of the criticism of Kalam by different groups, such as Salafis, Sufis, Muslim philosophers and contemporary thinkers, is pr ovided.
