This is a very good hardcover copy with a clear mylar wrapper with just light wear. Completely clean inside and out. The tan cloth covers a bit sunned across the top of the front board and the spine. Red title letters still bright. Text in Italian. Illustrated in black & white with drawings of motifs in the text + 95 black & white plates + 56 tipped-in color plates. The black & white plates show carpets, tapestries and paintings with carpets in them. The color plates are almost all carpets from private collections in Italy, mostly from Milan, some from Lugano, Varese, London, Paris and churches in Transylvania. 13" high X 10" wide, 219 text pages + plates. A beautiful production printed by Arti Grafiche Fratelli Magnani in Milan for Edizioni Libri Artistici in September 1962. Large heavy book, foreign shipping will be extra.
