Contemporary (original?) boards. = Rare and early contributions to the fish (and bird) fauna of Greenland, dealing with the taxonomy and zoogeography, with a few supplements, published in the Society's Naturvidenskabelige og Mathematiske Afhandlinger, volume 7. Despite the title, some 15 pp. are devoted to the birds observed, and of the eight engraved plates, three show birds, including an unidentified one, and four show fish. The author is Johannes Christopher Hagemann Reinhardt (1776-1845), not to be confused by two other, contemporary, ichthyologists named Reinhardt. Boards detached, otherwise good. Dean II, p. 331.
