Spine with gilt lines and gilt title on brown morocco label. = This is the rare first, Latin, edition of the work on intestinal worms by the Frisian physician Murk van Phelsum (1730-1779) which, much later in 1781-1782, was republished in German as "Naturgeschichte der Springwürmer". Rubbing to spine, old weak, cancelled library stamp on verso of title, another small stamp on on front free endpaper; some foxing in the beginning and some age toning, otherwise a very good copy.
