A libellous account about the court of Napoleon by Lews Goldsmith (ca. 1780-1846). A refugee in France, he served the country by publishing anti-British views in his journal "L'Argus, ou Londres vu de Paris". For this service, he was named sworn interpreter at the court of justice.
