Between 1930 and 1967, four large polders (together 1650 square kilometer) were created, at approximately four meters below sea level. When this study was published, the work had hardly begun. Now it is the home of over half a million people. In 1928, however, chiefly its argicultural aspects and landscapes were considered. Well-illustrated. Uncut. Spine cover broken; otherwise a very good, clean copy.
