Honolulu, HI, Spencecliff [for the author], 1960-1964. 25 parts in one. 4to (27.3 x 21.3 cm). 100 pp.; 25 plates. Brown buckram with gilt title on the spine. = A seldom-seen periodical, with each issue consisting of four pages, of which one with a page-sized plate. This bound set includes volume 1(1-19) (76 pp.) and 2(20-25), with issue 2(20) in photocopy). It deals mainly with Terebridae, Conidae (with Alan J Kohn as first author), and Cypraeidae (with E. Alison Kay as first author). After 1963, publication slowed down. The last one bound dates from December 1964. Added are issues 2(20, 26-28) in photocopy, the last two loosely inserted. These were dated 1965 to 1966. Apparently, the former owner, the American malacologist Richard Irwin Johnson (1925-2020), had the set bound expecting that no more would be published. This is all that was published. A few leaves a bit creased, otherwise very good. Bound copies are rare.
