First Edition. One of only 1000 numbered copies, with a suite of six especially lithographed original plates produced just for this limited edition one of which is HAND SIGNED by Rockwell Kent. Illustrated throughout with the striking black and white drawings of Rockwell Kent plus the additional suite of 6 plates and map endpapers. 8vo, publisher’s original white buckram lettered in gilt on the spine the suite of lithographs housed in a paper folder and both contained in the publisher’s original slipcase. x, 302 pp. A very fine copy, near as mint with the slightest evidence of age. The slipcase, well preserved, attractive and still protecting the books within.
