Original printed front wrapper. = A rare privately printed illustrated monograph by the French botanist Pierre Tranquille Husnot (1840-1929). It deals with western European cereal grasses. Well-illustrated. Due to the quality of the paper browned and brittle at edges. First leaves repaired with tape, with very slight loss of text. The plates printed on better paper and in a much better state. Nissen BBI, 957.
