Nürnberg, Johann Leonhard Schrag, 1811. 8vo (22.0 x 13.0 cm). vii, 81 pp.; large, folded engraved map of the region of Meissen and Dresden (Germany). Original boards. Script title on the spine. = An important geological contribution by the German geologist Karl Ludwig Georg von Raumer (1783-1865). It deals mainly on the petrology of the Erzgebirge and Harz. Small bookplate and pictorial bookplate on front pastedown; perforated stamp on title. Scattered, mostly marginal foxing, the map much cleaner. Rare. Ward & Carozzi, 1839.
