About The Book: Late Prof. Dashrath Singh studied different writers, peace scientists and sociologist. In this book, Prof. Singh has compared different tenets of Gandhian philosophy with other contemporary philosophies and has explained to show that Gandhian philosophy has the potential to lay foundation of a new civilized and progressive civilization to achieve objective of 'Sarvodaya'. He reached a decision that Gandhi has presented a complete philosophy relevant for a peaceful life and peaceful society that can build up a new civilization, in which every person can live selfsufficiently either economically or politically. This book contains ten chapters starting with civilization and culture and ends with Mahatma Gandhi's contribution to Indian Culture. To summarize, Gandhian philosophy in itself is a quest of new civilization, where lies 'the welfare and growth of all'.
