This catalog was prepared to accompany the exhibition in Vienna at the Museums fur Moderne Kunst in cooperation with the Friedrich Kiesler Center also in Vienna in the winter of 2002 / 2003. The exhibition explored the architect, Friedrich Kiesler's (1890- 1965) visionary concept for Peggy Guggenheim's influential Art of This Century Gallery. Friedrich Kiesler designed the installations and the unusual seating furniture for the gallery. Texts by Dieter Bogner, Eva Kraus and Udo Kittelmann. Illustrated with reproductions of Kiesler's drawings for the design of the gallery. Also vintage black & white photographs, reproductions of documents and letters.
