Peiping [Beijing], Academie Nationale de Peiping, 1931, 1933. Two volumes in two. Large 4to (25.5 x 35 cm). 122 pp.; 47 plates. Original uniform printed wrappers. = The first two of perhaps five volumes (four are recorded by Stafleu and Cowan; the last two by other authors). All are rare. Well-illustrated, with large plates. The text is in French and in Chinese. Volume 1 contains a monograph of the Concolvulaceae, by Lio Tchen-Ngo and Ling Yong. (59 pp.; 22 plates). Volume 2 contains the Gentianaceae, by Ling Yong alone (63 pp.; 25 plates). Published "sous la direction de M. Liou Tchen-Ngo, directeur du Laboratoire de Botanique de l'académie nationale de Peiping". Errata sheet mounted in rear of volume 1. Some light chipping to wrapper edges; spine cover of volume 1 perished; first volume with marginal staining from rusty staples. Otherwise very good, contents clean. Stafleu and Cowan, 4862.
