Marseille, Moullot Fils Ainé, 1899. Large 4to. 154 pp.; 14 lithographed plates, three maps, one large, folding table. Original printed wrappers. = The author's thesis. Describes and illustrates a well-preserved flora of Palaeogene age from the Gard (southern France). Signed by the author an dedicated, on the front wrapper, to "M." Guebhard ("M." = Monsieur; probably this is the Swiss geologist and archaeologist Adrien Guébhard [1849-1924]). The weak binding has perished; the front wrapper detached and chipped at edges, but not affecting the dedication. In all a good copy.
