London, Hamilton, Adams, 1854. xxvi, 138 pp.; one nicely hand-coloured folded map of "Country 5 miles around Bristol compiled from the ordnance Survey, 1853, physically coloured and numbered with altitudes to illustrate the Flora Bristoliensis" with four colours, two further maps and profiles. Original embossed cloth with gilt title on the front board and spine. = Rare dedication copy, inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper recto, to Miss L. Cockburn, and dated November 1855. This is a useful local flora, with a large map of Bristol A.D. 1854. Spine sunned, as usual, from green to olive. Text a bit foxed, the large plate with a few small repairs, otherwise a very good copy. Stafleu and Cowan 13.551.
