Mexico, Instituto Geologico de Mexico, 1912. Two parts in two. Large 4to (33.0 x 23.3 cm). 272 pp.; two folding tables and 46 fine photographic plates printed on thick paper. Original, uniform printed wrappers. = A well-illustrated monograph, describing well-preserved faunas with many new species of ammonites. The fine plates were printed in Germany. One of the large, folded tables contains a list of new species. Rarely found complete. Spine covers of the atlas perished, the gatherings loose; spine of the text volume reinforced with greyish-blue tape. Text volume with marginal damp-staining, and two library stamps on the front wrapper and oneon the half-title; rectangular offsetting from a card of inferior papoer to the title page of the atlas; otherwise very good, clean, the plates fine.
