Contemporary blue buckram with gilt title on spine, original printed wrappers bound in rear. = Still the best identification guide to the larger shrimps and crabs of France and adjacent regions (both the Mediterranean and the eastern Atlantic, English Channel, North Sea, etc.). The plates are superior to those in the 1970 Kraus reprint. A well-bound ex-library copy with remnants of book-plates on pastedowns and free endpapers, and stamp on half -title and title; otherwise a very good, clean copy. Bound copies are quite uncommon.
