Publisher's black printed and blind-stamped cloth. = An important contribution to the scarab beetles, in particular the subfamilies Cetoniinae, (flower chafers) with the Valgini, a tribe sometimes regarded as a separate subfamily (as done here). Includes the description of several new species from Russia, including Siberia. The illustrations of whole animals and taxonomically important parts are excellent. Published in the series Fauna USSR (New Series). In Russian. Stamp on front free endpaper recto, otherwise a very good, clean copy. Very uncommon.
