This is a very good hardcover edition in very good dust jackets of this 2 volume set. Only light edge-wear to the dust jackets. Completely clean inside, all text and plates clean, a few creased edges of fold-out plates (not affecting images). Text in Italian. This monograph examines the work of the artist Giovanni Fattori and his school. Fattori was one of the most important of the 'Macchiaioli' painters. Volume 1: 207 text pages + 196 illustrations in black & white, including 39 color plates; Volume 2: 235 text pages + 147 illustrations in black & white, including 42 color plates. 5 of the color plates are fold-outs (1 gatefold).
