Jena, Costenoble, 1896. Large 8vo. 309 pp. [xiii, 296]; five folded lithographed plates. Later red buckram with gilt title on the spine. = Written by the German zoologist and librarian Otto Hamann (1857-1925). Usually found in paper wrappers, but this is a well-bound copy. The region Krain (Carniola) is now part of Slovenia. Copy of the American malacologist Dwight Willard Taylor (1932-2006), with his small stamp on the half-title, dedication leaf and a few text page margins. Otherwise a very good, clean, complete copy.
