Original printed portfolio. = A seldom seen contribution to the mammalogy of the Congo (formerly Zaire, or Congo Kinshasa) and in particular a peculiar wild black pig species. Written by the German mammalogist Georg Friedrich Paul Matschie (1861-1926). He never used his first two names. Published in the series, Annales du Musée du Congo. Zoologie. Série II (erroneously numbered I on the front cover). Old stamp on front cover. Slight spotting to the half-title, otherwise near mint. Even the protective portfolio in very good state.
