Half-title, title page, 101 pp. [64, 37]; seven plates, of which three larger, folded, of which two very large, hand-coloured, one being a map, the other showing ten profiles; and among the page-sized plates four landscape views. 20th-century full cloth. Spine with paper label with script title. Original printed wrappers bound in. = Two rare papers dealing with the geology of western France, the first in particular about a region in southern Brittany. Both written by the French geologist Alphone Auguste Rivière (1805-1877). The profiles and plate are detailed and well-coloured.
