Original printed front wrapper bound in. = Written by the French mineralogist Georges Friedel (1865-1933), son of the chemist Charles Friedel and father of a director of the École des Mines in Paris, Edmond Friedel. He himself was a professor at the École nationale supérieure des mines in Saint-Étienne between 1893 and 1919. Offprint, with new pagination, from the Bulletin de la Société de l'Industrie minérale Serie 4, Volumes III-IV). Signed by the author on the front wrapper. An old stamp on thfront wrapper, otherwise very good, clean.
