Paris, Challamel, 1865. Two papers in two. 4to (32.1 x 22.1 cm). vii, 72 pp.; two lithographed maps, one folded profile; 12 pp. [2me appendice]. Original wrappers with later linen spine, 2me appendice not bound. = Rare contributions to the hydrology of the Nile, including the Abbysinian tribituaries. The fine map shows both Egypt and present day Ethiopia and Sudan. Also published in the Mémoires de l'Institut de Milan, but these are offprints. Translated from the Italian by the author himself. With the 12 pp. second appendice, which is rare too.
