According to the verso of the half-title, "tire a un tres-petit nombre d'exemplaires". Bigmore & Wyman (I, 189), writing in 1880, and Bourcard (49-50), writing in 1910, acknowledge their great debt to this work, and point out how rare it is. Slim 8vo, UNCUT IN THE ORIGINAL PRINTED WRAPS, A PRISTINE COPY COMPLETE WITH THE PUBLISHER'S CATALOGUE. Slight wear to wraps, very fresh internally.
