Original boards with printed paper label on the spines. = A rare part of the Ultimate Encyclopaedia and the largest of all great Encyclopaedias and the most important work published during the French Enlightement. This section edited by the French sailor, soldier, naval engineer and naval historian Honoré Sébastien Vial de Clairbois (1733-1816). Uncut, as issued. Wear to the boards; spines partly abraded with several labels lost - as often; otherwise, a very good, internally clean and complete text set.
