She continues: "I would like to hope that these obscure images which are the outcome of long and laborious work will, like the flame of a torch, light up small details in the lives of some people, reveal some small secrets, make a tiny contribution to reinforcing their relations with nature and provoke them to stop for a moment and think about the intrinsic essence of life. I have entitled this album Climates, the name of a book which I love by André Maurois, because I believe that people have 'climates' in the form of transient images just as nature does.". 750 copies were printed.
