Includes (within the pagination) a full-page map and half-page wood-engraved images of the eight allegorical statues (representing France's main provincial cities). Small 8vo. Wraps. ENTIRELY UNCUT AND UNOPENED. FINE AND BRIGHT, like new. WorldCat cites only one copy: that of the Institut national d'histoire d'art. The Bibliothèque Nationale has a copy of an edition printed the following year. COMPLETELY PRISTINE AND EXTREMELY RARE.
