Original printed wrappers. = Second edition (first: 1854) of a detailed monograph with truly excellent illustrations. The author, the German botanist and palaeontologist [Johann] Heinrich Robert Göppert (1800-1884) was one of the foremost authorities on fossil plants in the mid-19th century. Uncut.
