Lund, C. W. K. Gleerup, 1944-1947. Three volumes in one. 4to. 282 [ 104; 99; 79] pp., 50 [32; 18; 0] plates, 180 [53; 61; 66] text illustrations. Burgundy cloth with gilt-lettered spine. Original printed front wrappers bound in. = Three fine studies on marine algae with truly excellent illustrations, written by the Swedish phycologist [Johan] Harald Kylin (1879-1949). The three works are seldom found together (the first and last one are rare) and in this copy they are very handsomely bound. With the author's hand-written dedication on the front wrappers, and the phycological bookplate of Ove Almborn on the front paste-down. A fine copy.
